  1. Is Continuing Education the same as Post License Education?
    No. Continuing Education must be completed every 2 years by both Salespersons and Brokers who have previously renewed their current license at least one time. Post License Education is only required for salespersons who are renewing their license for the FIRST time.

  2. I’m a Salesperson. What are my CE requirements?
    All active salespersons must complete 16 credit hours of Continuing Education within your current license term (every 2 years) to renew your license. Your 16 credits must be in the following subjects:
    • Fair Housing (2 hours)
    • Ethics & Standards of Conduct (3 hours)
    • Legal Updates/Law (1 hour)
    • Real Estate Agency (1 hour)
    • Real Estate Contracts (1 hour)
    • Real Estate Related Subjects or additional hours in the above categories (8 hours)

  3. I’m a Broker. What are my CE requirements?
    All active brokers must complete 24 credit hours of Continuing Education within your current license term (every 2 years) to renew your license. Your 24 credits must be in the following subjects:
    • Fair Housing (2 hours)
    • Ethics & Standards of Conduct (3 hours)
    • Legal Updates/Law (1 hour)
    • Real Estate Agency (1 hour)
    • Real Estate Contracts (1 hour)
    • Broker Management (8 hours)
    • Real Estate Related Subjects or additional hours in the above categories (8 hours)

  4. How many hours am I required to spend via online or written home study?
    You may spend the appropriate time that you need to fully understand the course content and successfully complete the Moseley Method as outlined in your materials. Moseley's Virginia Real Estate Board approved correspondence continuing education courses allow you the flexibility to access the content via online or written home study for as little or as much time as necessary. Moseley understands the importance of providing students flexibility to ensure their success in mastering the course materials.

  5. Is Moseley Real Estate Schools affiliated with Moseley-Flint schools of real estate or Moseley-Dickinson academy of real estate?
    No. Moseley Real Estate Schools is not affiliated with Moseley-Flint or Moseley-Dickinson in any way. Moseley develops all of our own course content and does not share our content or educational methods with any other real estate education provider.

  6. Does Moseley allow me to upgrade my Continuing Education course delivery method?
    Moseley allows you to upgrade your delivery method for simply the difference in tuition, plus a minimal $10 upgrade fee.

  8. How flexible is Moseley’s continuing education course refund policy?
    Your Moseley tuition is 100% refundable, for any reason, if requested in writing (mail, fax, or email) within 21-days of payment or prior to attending a classroom lecture, whichever comes first. To receive a refund, you must return your materials in acceptable resale condition (current editions only) or Moseley will deduct the price of your materials from your tuition refund.
