Helen has enjoyed a long, challenging and interesting career in real estate. She has been licensed since 1985 and currently holds an inactive license in Washington, DC. Helen is the Broker/Owner of HRC Properties, LLC that was established in 1996.

Previous Real Estate Experiences: Helen has been a Trainer with a number of companies in the past. She co-wrote the Training Manual for a large company early in her career. She was also the Training Director for Real Estate for the National Real Estate Institute (NIRE) that was bought by Moseley. She has been the Manager of several companies and the co-owner of a franchise real estate company.

Awards: Helen has qualified and been awarded a number of awards in her career but her most important awards have been the positive feedback from her clients regarding the service she has given.

Hobbies: Helen enjoys sewing, crafts and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and traveling to historic sites in Virginia.

Past Experience: Prior to real estate Helen was a trainer/counselor with Arlington Public Schools working with mentally challenged young adults. The program that she developed won an award for the best use of volunteering to train and establish jobs for these young adults.

Professional Affiliations: Helen is currently a member of the National Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors and Northern VA Association of Realtors. She is currently a 5-year member of the Standard Forms Committee for NVAR. She has served on the Education and Finance Committees in the past. She is also currently serving as Secretary of the Board for Independent Square Professional Condominium (the business complex where her office is located).

Professional Designations: Helen currently holds the Certified Manager for Community Associations, ePRO (shows proficiency with the internet) and the Accredited Staging Professional designations.

Civic Experience: Helen has served as President of several organizations, (PTA, Community Associations, Professional & Political Organizations). She currently holds the office of President for her Neighborhood Association.

Personal Info: Helen is married, has 2 adult children, a son & a daughter and 3 beautiful granddaughters. Both her husband and daughter hold real estate sales licenses. Her son is an author and professional speaker/trainer.
