For over 30 years my husband and I have raised our family in the Colonial Beach and Fredericksburg area. Our children, who have now grown and started their own families, attended Fredericksburg Christian School and have remained closed to Fredericksburg.

When time allows, my husband and I, along with our kids and three granddaughters love to travel and see the world. I love what I do as both a Broker and now as a Grandmother.

Although I’m a second generation Realtor, I did not go directly into real estate. For many years I was a school teacher. The skills learned as a teacher have helped me educate my clients and agents on current trends in real estate, as well as becoming a good communicator.

As a Broker, my highest priority is ensuring that the Associates I serve are well informed and have the latest tools at their disposal. I make myself constantly available to the agents by a variety of communication options.

Through coaching and mentoring, I use my experience in the industry to give the agent the best possible opportunity to find success in their careers. I’ve been a broker for over 15 years and know what it takes to be a great agent. I work hard to make sure those traits are conveyed to those who I work with.

First of all, thanks for taking the time to read about me. My name is Mike Curry and I’ll start off with telling you a little about myself. After growing up in Stafford/Fredericksburg, my family and I now call Spotsylvania home. I am proud to say I have been married for over 20 years and am the proud father of 3 boys, one attending Clemson and the other 2 in high school. For eleven years we had only the three boys, and then we got the most awesome gift anyone could want with that much testosterone in the family…a little girl! I can also say I am privileged enough to have had the opportunity to coach all 3 boys in high school football. After coaching high school football for 8 years, I have finally decided to hang up my whistle and watch from the stands. Our family enjoys boating, hiking, golf and of course, watching football!

As Managing Broker for the Spotsylvania Office, my primary focus is ensuring that our agents have the best resources, training and support that could possibly be available. Our agents are the most important part of our company and we strive to always show them that. Our company would not be where it is today if we didn’t have the best group of REALTORS anyone could hope to assemble!

A solid foundation is critical to success in this industry. My real estate journey began in 2003 after moving back to Virginia. Prior to real estate, I obtained a bachelor's degree in Communications and worked for an advertising firm in New York City. Family brought us back to Fredericksburg and I couldn't be happier.

As Creative Director for Coldwell Banker Elite, I design materials ranging from digital ads to recruitment magazines as well as manage our team of marketing professionals. I am always on the lookout for emerging technology. Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself! My wife, Teresa, and I have been married since 1992 and raised our two children in the Spotsylvania County area since 1994. After graduating from Chancellor High School, our boys both chose to attend West Virginia University "Let's Go Mountaineers"; our older son graduated from WVU in 2015 and our younger son is a senior. We have a strong commitment to family!

I attended the University of South Carolina and a member of the Gamecocks football team. I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice. I spent 26 years in Public Service. I am a FULL TIME Realtor who consistently applies the same passion from Public Service to every client. I have been a licensed Realtor in the Commonwealth of VA since 2007. I received my Broker License in 2017 and am an Associate Broker within the firm. In October 2017, I was a featured agent with an article in TopAgentMagazine.com. I've taken advanced training in real estate and have earned several national designations so my clients benefit from up-to-date, professional service and knowledge in the rapidly-changing real estate world.

I have earned the following from the National Association of Realtors & Cartus:
