As the Broker/Owner of Wise Agent Realty, Barbara Costa leads a team of Real Estate Professionals representing Buyers, Sellers, Investors, and Business Owners in the Tri-State area.
Barb is a true entrepreneur and manager, owning a multitude of businesses from raising prize bulls, cows, horses, and sheep, to a multi-million dollar construction company, from Business Consultant to log home builder, success follows whatever path she forges.
In 2002 she entered the Real Estate world, quickly building a team in Arizona and obtaining a Broker's license in 2005. After moving to Virginia in 2008, she once again put her learning cap on and became an expert in Short Sale and Foreclosure markets. "This was a rough time for all, especially those clients who has lost their homes. It broke my heart to see families, jobless and homeless, and I made it my goal to help them find a place where they could rebuild their lives."
In 2012 she became the Principal Broker for a struggling brokerage and brought it from 2 agents to 16 Realtors in a matter of months. She developed a business plan, training materials, forms, office policies, and moved it to a larger office space. She never stops learning, obtaining Brokers licenses in MD, VA, DC, and FL, currently studying for NC and WV.
Not satisfied with not having ownership control, and wanting a company where everyone is family and helps each other, Wise Agent Realty, Llc was born!

Renee has been practicing Real Estate for 15 years. Along with Virginia, she is licensed in Maryland and Washington DC. Renee earned her degree at Bradley University in Illinois, and got her MBA at the University of DC. In her free time, Renee enjoys reading and traveling.

Tave Costa is an Associate Broker and Co-Owner of Wise Agent Realty. He is very proud of his twenty years of military service in the United States Navy Submarine Force. Tave is the father of three beautiful girls and a grandfather to six awesome grandchildren.
Tave has been a Realtor since 1994 and a Broker since 2003. He also has a vast amount of experience in Title and Escrow, Business Development, Advertising, Teaching, Business Coaching, and Lead Generation.
Tave and Barbara saw a severe need in the Real Estate world, that was not being addressed by Realty Companies, the care and consideration of their Agents.
